First Impressions are dangerous. They can either begin or quickly end relationships that could have been. Your actions, attire, the way you speak, smell, your attitude and so much more goes into the first impression you are bound to make on someone. Unfortunately, your first impression may be your only impression because humans as a species, seems to be programmed to judge others. It doesn't seem fair but it happens...most of the time.
The disturbing part about first impressions is that sometimes they do not allow room for a person to grow, mature, or change. Once the impression has been made, it seems to be set in stone. Remember that even though it's your first impression it doesn't have to be a lasting impression and it should not determine who a person is overall because you are not giving that person to show you who they are completely in a matter of seconds or minutes.
Remember that as quick as you are to cast judgement on another, someone else is casting judgement on you.

Thankful
2009 brought many memories for me. I moved to a new state, in a new house, and became a wife. I have an amazing husband who loves me unconditionally. I know we have our moments, however those moments truly show me how much we do love and appreciate one another. He is awesome.
I had alot of firsts last year: getting married, skiing, snow tubing, going to Vegas, going to the Dominican Republic to name a few. Life is about taking on new and exciting things and I plan to continue to do so this year as well.
I have such a wonderful friend base. All of the ladies in my life are beautiful and help me through life in their own special way...even when they don't know it. I treasure all the memories we have created, those memories that have yet to be created, and all the laughs that come along with just knowing you all.
None of this would be possible without God. I am so thankful for all the people and things that God has blessed me with. There are so many things that I am without, but in time God will bless with the things that He sees fit at the right time. I thank Him for his everlasting love! As my friend would say, "Go God!"
So this year no resoltutions! I will appreciate all that have and continue to just enjoy life on life's terms. I am blessed and loved and I am embracing it!
